Graham Gets Sick

Graham's regular routine is to stay at home with Dad all morning Monday to Friday. Most days they have a good time. Graham is happy to accompany Dad on whatever errands need to be done so he's quite accustomed to going out.

That was a good thing when Graham got sick recently because he was happy about being put in the pram and taken out. He even had heaps of fun with the toys in the doctor's waiting room.

One of life's great mysteries is, why do other peoples' toys attract kids so much when they have plenty of their own toys at home?

Graham is well-behaved for most of the time when he sees the doctor. It's only when the doctor uses a tiny vacuum cleaner-like machine to suck mucus out of his nasal passages that he complains. His Dad thinks it's something worth complaining about. It's looks very unpleasant and can't feel good but Graham is always happy when it is finished and he can breathe through his nose.

Fortunately, after finishing at the doctor's office Graham can go to a nearby park and play on the slide.

On warm, sunny days it is a lovely place to be and Graham really likes crawling up this slide and then sliding down on his belly. It keeps his good mood going for as long as he is allowed to play.
